Community Involvement:

During college, I had the opportunity to volunteer with American Dance Wheels. This foundation teaches a variety of dance styles, such as Wheelchair Ballroom and Latin Dance. Working with ADW has inspired me to combine my love for dance and therapy. As a recreational therapist, I strive to use dance as a form of therapy for my clients. This also allows me to share my passion of dance with them as well.

Favorite Appearance and why:

My favorite appearance was having the opportunity to dance onstage with Darius Rucker at the Barefoot Country Music Fest. Throughout my time on the team, I have had the opportunity to perform with incredible artists such as Meek Mill, Jimmie Allen, Breland, Queen, New Kids on the Block and DJ Jazzy Jeff.

Personal Time: I am a certified pet therapy handler. Every week I volunteer with my three French bulldogs Bruno, Birdee & Bessie bringing them into Memory Care communities.

You May Not Know: Something that most people would not know about me is that I walk to the beach every morning! 

Just Have to Share: One of the things I am most proud of in my career is hosting a "Senior Prom" for my residents. My favorite moment is crowning the King and Queen and watching them dance to the music from their era. It is truly a magical night getting the opportunity to create an atmosphere where they can feel young again.
