A native of Marlboro, New Jersey, and a product of nearby Temple University, Dan Klecko signed a two-year contract wih the Eagles on 3/17/08. Klecko, who has seen action at defensive tackle, linebacker, and fullback during his five-year career, has been a part of three Super Bowl Championship teams while with New England (2003-05) and Indianapolis (2006-07). Originally a fourth round draft choice of the Patriots in 2003, Klecko has appeared in 47 career regular season games, notching 39 tackles and three sacks on defense, and four receptions for 20 yards and one touchdown receiving on offense. Dan's father, Joe Klecko, was an All-America defensive lineman at Temple and an All-Pro defensive tackle with the New York Jets.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
- Has been a part of three Super Bowl championship teams during his five-year career with New England (2003-05) and Indianapolis (2006-07), seeing action at DT, LB and FB
