A free agent signee of the Eagles in 2008, Jamal Jones played in 12 regular season games (one start) and both playoff contests for New Orleans in 2006, but was released by the Saints prior to the 2007 regular season. Originally signed by St. Louis as a rookie free agent in 2004, Jones spent time on Green Bay's practice squad in the second half of that season, and later appeared in two games for the Packers in 2005. A native of Washington D.C., Jones was a high school teammate of Eagles RB Brian Westbrook at DeMatha Catholic High School.
