BIRDSEED:

• Has a passion for mass media and telecommunications. His father, Kelvin Arrington, is a Producer/Advisor for training videos for the IRS and other companies. "Growing up, I was around camera equipment, teleprompters and TVs all the time. In fact, my dad has a TV everywhere you can think of, even in the bathroom." Would like to get into acting or movie production when his playing days are over
• Both of his names come from pop-culture. His mom, Sandi Arrington, took the name Kyle from the main character, Kyle Reese, in the movie "Terminator."  Chandler, his middle name, came from one of the stars of "Days of Our Lives"
• Earned a black belt in Tai Kwan Do while in middle school

PERSONAL:

• Is a self-proclaimed "gym rat" who likes to keep himself busy. "I do whatever I can to get better, like watching film and studying plays. I don't like to just sit around."
• Has two sisters and one brother. One of his sisters, Kara, played basketball in college at HBCU of Ohio
• Began his football career in the sixth grade playing little league tackle football. He was originally an offensive lineman, but by the end of the season had played every position on the team
• His father has his entire career on tape from sixth grade through college. "My dad never missed a game," said Kyle
• Graduated with a degree in mass media studies

Recorded 53 tackles, 1 INT, 2 FF and 1 FR during his senior year at Hofstra. For his career, finished with 2 INTs.
