Earned third-team All-America and first-team All-Big East honors after shifting from tackle to right guard as a senior in 2007. That year Pittsburgh amassed 981 rushing yards on 150 carries (6.3 average) and 15 touchdowns when running to McGlynn's side of the field. A three-time All-Big East honoree, appeared in 47 games and notched a streak of 43 consecutive starts since emerging as the team's starting left tackle in 2004. After spending the 2003 season on the scout team, went on to earn second-team All-Big East Freshman accolades the following year. Was also a two-time recipient of the Ed Conway award in 2004 and 2005, which is given annually to the team's most improved player.
