1. McCoy Wants To Make Statement
Running back LeSean McCoy walked out of AT&T Stadium with the belt last season as the NFL's rushing champion after the Eagles beat the Cowboys to win the NFC East. McCoy had an actual belt - like the ones worn by wrestling champions - that he brandished.
McCoy, who is fourth in the NFL entering Week 13 in rushing, will see the man who could claim the belt this year - Dallas' DeMarco Murray.
"He's the top back, especially this year," McCoy said. "You go out and compete, compete as a team. We compete as individuals going across the guy from you.
"He's kind of winning the belt right now."
McCoy admitted seeing the best on the other sideline will further inspire him today.
"I think it does in every player," he said.
2. Welcome Back To The Rivalry, Jeremy
Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin missed out on last year's battles with the Cowboys as he recovered from his ACL injury. He understands what the game means having been in Philadelphia since 2009.
"It's bigger than me. It's bigger than this team," Maclin said. "They've been going at it so long and now with the stakes what they are - two teams playing good football, a chance to take first place in the division. It's a big game for us"
3. Acho Offers Hint Regarding Status?
Linebacker Emmanuel Acho was listed as questionable on the team's injury report with a groin injury. He told reporters upon arriving at the team hotel Wednesday that he will try to play. Well, he may have offered a clue to his status this morning on Twitter.
4. Sproles Is Second In Pro Bowl Voting
We all want the Eagles to be playing in the Super Bowl, but they should be recognized for their outstanding individual seasons.
In the latest update of the Pro Bowl fan vote, the highest-ranking Eagle is Darren Sproles, who is second among return specialists.
A number of other Eagles are in the top 10, but no one is atop his respective list. You can vote here and help change that.
