The Eagles have started to turn the page and are now looking ahead to this Sunday's matchup with the Oakland Raiders. Get the latest news and find out what we have in store for you on this Tuesday in our 5 Things To Know Today feature ...

1. PRACTICE STARTS TODAY: COORDINATORS PRESS CONFERENCES

Quarterback health is a central theme of the day and we'll have the very latest for you live on PhiladelphiaEagles.com today. Offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur meets the media at 11:25 a.m. followed by defensive coordinator Bill Davis, and both press conferences are live here. At Noon, Eagles Live!, hosted by Dave Spadaro and Adam Caplan, takes a live peek at practice and discusses the Eagles as the team prepares to play the Raiders on Sunday.

2. A CALIFORNIA STATE OF MIND

The Eagles are not all that familiar with the state of California as they have not played a game there since they beat the 49ers in 2010. They are even less familiar with the Oakland Raiders (see below). However, this Sunday's game will be a homecoming of sorts for nine players who either grew up in the Golden State, played their college football there or both.

California Connections
Player College/Hometown
QB Matt Barkley USC/Santa Ana, Calif.
S Patrick Chung Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.
LS Jon Dorenbos Garden Grove, Calif.
TE Zach Ertz Stanford/Danville, Calif.
WR DeSean Jackson California/Long Beach, Calif.
LB Mychal Kendricks California/Fresno, Calif.
WR Jeff Maehl Paradise, Calif.
LB Casey Matthews Westlake Village, Calif.
RB Chris Polk Redlands, Calif.

I Just want to say thankyou to all that came out tonight to sports authority in brick, nj to see me and @ConnorBarwin98 @fcoxx91 — Vinny Curry (@MrGetFlee99) October 28, 2013

3. COMMUNITY MONDAY: CURRY GIVES BACK TO HIS HOMETOWN

Defensive end Vinny Curry and Sports Authority teamed up to host a sports equipment drive on Monday to benefit the Neptune (N.J.) Township Recreation sports leagues. Curry is a Neptune, N.J. native.

Sports Authority, one of the nation's largest full-line sporting goods retailers, encouraged fans and customers to stop by its Brick, N.J. location on Monday to purchase items on the selected list and donate them to the equipment drive. Curry matched each donated item and Sports Authority contributed a $500 gift card to the Neptune Township Recreation sports leagues.

Everyone who donated received an autographed photo of the Eagles players in attendance, which included linebacker Connor Barwin and defensive end Fletcher Cox.

4. PRO BOWL VOTING: YOUR TIME TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IS NOW

It's not too early to look ahead to the Pro Bowl, which will have a totally new look as the teams are mixed and the game is no longer the traditional AFC players lining up against the NFC. This time around, the Pro Bowl features teams with players who are mixed and matched for the January 26, 2014 game.

The voting is live now, and you can get in on the action here.

5. STRANGERS UNITE AS EAGLES-RAIDERS PLAY ON SUNDAY

The Eagles meet the Raiders on Sunday, just the 12th game between the franchises. Philadelphia has never won in Oakland, having dropped all three games, and the Eagles haven't played the Raiders since October, 2009 when the Raiders defense stymied quarterback Donovan McNabb and the Eagles in a 13-9 victory for Oakland.

In fact, the Eagles haven't defeated Oakland since 2005, when the Raiders played at Lincoln Financial Field.

The most memorable game between the teams, of course, came in Super Bowl XV on January 25, 1981 when Oakland prevailed, 27-10.
