Snaps for the Snapper: Despite never running a 40-yard dash or being recruited to play college football, long snapper Jon Dorenbos has established a strong NFL career that's running 10-plus years, including more than six seasons in Philadelphia. Following his third full season with the Eagles in 2009, Dorenbos was selected to the Pro Bowl and in the most recent offseason, he signed a contract extension that will keep him in midnight green through 2017.
"I was so excited when the Eagles approached me and said, 'Hey, let's get a deal done,'" Dorenbos said. "Being able to be here through a whole era change, I'm really excited to go from Andy Reid to try something new with Chip Kelly."
Magic Man: It's well-known that Dorenbos is the Eagles' resident magician. After falling in love with the craft as a kid, Dorenbos has performed in shows across the country, impressing athletes and celebrities like Magic Johnson, Joe Montana, Jim Kelly, Lindsay Lohan and Rascal Flatts. More importantly, the long snapper uses his magic to brighten the days of those he meets through his philanthropy efforts with Garth Brooks' "Teammates for Kids" and Brian Moorman's "Punt Foundation."
"Having the opportunity to meet the people I've met through something I love doing, it's just an indescribable feeling," Dorenbos explained.

Always the Entertainer: A fan favorite in Philadelphia, Dorenbos always finds ways to keep the audience entertained, with or without magic. From hosting (and winning an Emmy Award for) ETN's Inside the Eagles to serving as Commissioner of the 2013 Wing Bowl to playing catch with fans during Training Camp Open Practices, Dorenbos makes it a priority to connect with those who have supported his NFL dreams.
"For me to even say I made it to the NFL is wild," Dorenbos exclaimed. "I've really gotten to appreciate what a special place Philadelphia is to play in."
