Brian Rolle Conference Call

On whether he projects himself as a safety or middle linebacker at the National Football League level: "I project myself as an outside linebacker. I'm a guy that loves to stick his nose in piles and get dirty. So I just consider myself as somebody down in the box but whatever plans that the Eagles have for me I'm going to embrace it and excel."

On whether he's heard from S Kurt Coleman and what he said about the Eagles: "Actually, he was the first person to text me. He just said best of luck being an Eagle and he's glad to have me as part of his brotherhood there, just as well as when I became a Buckeye."

On whether he visited the Eagles before the draft: "Most definitely, that's one of the couple teams I visited and had a workout for. So I wouldn't be surprised if they took me it was just a matter of when."

On how his workout with the Eagles went: "It was great. Honestly, it was great and I felt like it was great. You know, you have one of those days where you just feel invincible and that's how I felt during that workout. I felt great, I moved great, and had a great time talking with [Linebackers] Coach [Mike] Caldwell who worked me out."

On whether he is close with S Antrel Rolle and what kind of advice he's gotten from him: "We don't talk as much. He's a little older than I am, but Myron [Rolle] is the guy that I'm closer with and I talk to him about the whole draft thing; you know, he was undrafted last year and was on a practice squad. He just told me about how hard you have to work regardless of the way you're drafted or how you get there, just work hard. And that's something I take from it. And you can see that in Antrel's play and Myron and Samari when he was in the league. How hard you have to work to maintain a high level of play."
