Geoff Mosher of Comcast SportsNet Philly is reporting that the Eagles plan to interview assistant coaches whose teams are currently in the playoffs.
Of the coaches named by Mosher, four are clients of agent Bob LaMonte, who also represents general manager Howie Roseman. They are: Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden and linebackers coach Paul Guenther. And Packers quarterbacks coach Ben McAdoo and wide receivers coach Edgar Bennett.
Assistants on Wild Card teams are allowed to interview for head coaching jobs next week, even if their team is still playing. The teams playing in the Wild Card round are: the Seahawks, Redskins, Packers, Vikings, Colts, Ravens, Bengals and Texans.
On Friday, the Eagles announced that they have been granted permission to speak with Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians and Seahawks defensive coordinator Gus Bradley.
