King Dunlap said on Friday that he took all of the practice reps this week and is ready for Sunday's NFC East showdown with the New York Giants.
"The division is on the line this week. It's a big game, the biggest game of the year thus far," Dunlap said. "Every game from here on out is a big game like it's the playoffs. We have to go get it."
Winston Justice missed last week's win over the Cowboys after suffering a hyperextended knee in Week 13 against the Texans. Justice was a limited participant in Friday's practice and is officially listed as questionable. If Justice can play, head coach Andy Reid said that Justice would start. If Justice can't play, Dunlap is in line to make his fourth start of the season.
"It is what it is. Everyone knows that Winston is hurt," Dunlap said. "I just have to go out and get ready for Sunday."
Justice said that he's at about "80 percent" right now, but has felt better as the week progressed.
"You're never 100 percent, something's always wrong," Justice said.
Dunlap said that he's been watching film all week on Giants Pro Bowl Justin Tuck. With 8.5 sacks, Tuck is second on the team this season only to Osi Umenyiora. Tuck also has six forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries. Starting last week against Dallas certainly helped prepare Dunlap if he indeed gets the call.
"Another great set of pass rushers this week," Dunlap said. "I've been watching tape all week. I'm going to watch a little more tonight and get ready for Sunday at 1. We just have to go out there and play our game."
