QB Donovan McNabb
On the touchdown pass to WR DeSean Jackson:"You are just trying to recognize the defense, you focus on the front and the coverage and you give your guys an opportunity to make a play for you. It was the coverage we wanted and DeSean did a great job of getting over the top, which made my job a lot easier. In that situation, you just want to put the ball out there and give him a good chance of making a play for you, and he did."
On the importance of putting a good drive together after the fumble on the previous drive: "It was very important. We were able to get some plays down there and get good field position from our defense. Not being able to capitalize is just not going to get the job done. On our first drive we got some positive plays, but not enough first downs. When we were third and two, we weren't able to capitalize. There are a lot of different things we have to learn from and watch, but there were a lot of positive things we could take out of it."
On how the offensive performance compared to the last game: "We are taking a step ahead. There were a lot of things we could take out of this. We weren't able to start the way we wanted to start last week. This week, we did. We can take some things out of this. The positive thing about it is that once we get all of our guys healthy we can get things really rolling."
WR DeSean Jackson
On his touchdown catch from QB Donovan McNabb:"It was just a nice design. It was a great play in our playbook. Donovan stepped back and made a great play fake. I split the safeties and it was a great ball."
On the offensive performance overall: "We are a little slow right now. The Colts are playing some pretty good offense. It's a 17-7 game, our offense wasn't really able to get too much going, but it's still early. The biggest thing is we're getting our reps in and we're getting used to playing in games again. We're starting to kind of get that momentum going. Every preseason game we need to get a little better somehow, some way.""
On how it felt to put together a good drive after the turnover: "The biggest thing is we are going out there and executing every play possible. We have a lot of great players on our offense and the biggest thing is just getting out there and putting in the work right now so that once the season comes, we are able to keep it going. We are able to get better looks in the game as opposed to practice. That's what we try to do out here is just get a good feel for it. It's early on and we have a long season. We have to do the little things right."
On his personal performance: "I had three series and caught a couple passes. Last week I played two series, so it was a little extra today and I am getting into the game speed and getting ready to go."

On his overall thoughts of how the defense played: "I don't even know how to put it into words. That wasn't Eagles defense, that wasn't what we are about right there. We need to work on a lot of things. Whenever you come in against a good team like that, you can't really make mistakes. We had a lot of mistakes out there and we have to get better than that. That was not Eagles defense."
On whether there are a couple of things the defense specifically needs to work on:"I think [we need to] just get back to basics. I think the main thing is we've got to fly around a little more. We've got to get our eyes on the right spot. It's always tough in the preseason, but that's no excuse. We've got to get this thing together. We're going to go back to work on Saturday and figure out what we need to do there."
On whether the Colts no-huddle offense affected the defense at all: "I don't think that really affected us much; we practiced on it all week. I don't think that was really a big deal. I think that we just kind of got away from what we were working on all week. Whenever we get into that situation we've got to get back to what we worked on. We kind of went away from it defensive-wise and we can't do that."
On what happened on Colts WR Reggie Wayne's 76-yard touchdown catch: "That's a good play that they had. They had two guys running through the zone on one of our safeties and that's a tough position. Any time you have a great quarterback like Peyton Manning it's tough. But that point aside, we don't have any excuses. We've got to make the plays, so at the end of the day we've just got to get better."
