The Eagles announced on Thursday that they have elevated tight end C.J. Uzomah from the practice squad for tonight's game against the Washington Commanders.

A 10-year veteran, Uzomah will serve as the third tight end behind Dallas Goedert and Grant Calcaterra. This will be Uzomah's debut in Midnight Green. He wears No. 47.

A fifth-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2015 NFL Draft, Uzomah (6-6, 262 pounds) has 192 catches for 1,881 yards and 16 touchdowns in 106 career regular-season games (82 starts) with the Bengals and the Jets. Uzomah was originally signed by the Eagles as a free agent in April and rejoined the team on the practice squad in October.

The Eagles will announce their gameday inactives list at 6:45 PM.
