At halftime, the Eagles lead the Vikings 24-7. Philadelphia outscored Minnesota 17-0 in the second quarter. Quarterback Nick Foles threw for 208 yards and a touchdown to pace the Eagles' offense.
The Vikings scored on the game's opening drive on a 25-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Case Keenum to tight end Kyle Rudolph. The Eagles' defense answered the bell on the Vikings' next drive.
On third-and-8 with six minutes to go, cornerback Patrick Robinson intercepted Keenum's pass intended for Adam Thielen and returned it across the field 50 yards for a touchdown. It was Robinson's second pick-six of his career and tied the game at 7-7.
The Eagles took over inside the Minnesota 20 to start the second quarter. A short pass to Zach Ertz gave Philadelphia a third-down conversion and LeGarrette Blount finished off the drive bulldozing over safety Andrew Sendejo for an 11-yard touchdown run. The Eagles went up 14-7 with just under 14 minutes to go in the half.
With about three minutes left on third-and-6, rookie Derek Barnett strip-sacked Keenum at the Philadelphia 25 and the ball was recovered by Chris Long.
On third-and-10, Foles danced around in the pocked and unleashed a 53-yard touchdown pass to a wide open Alshon Jeffery to put the Eagles up 21-7.
Jake Elliott nailed a 38-yarder to make the score 24-7 at the half as the Eagles went 60 yards in 29 seconds.
Philadelphia will receive the ball to start the second half.
