Eagles get to the 80-player limit

The Eagles announced the following five roster moves on Tuesday ahead of the team's trip to Miami for joint practices and the final preseason game:

• Waived CB Josh Blackwell

• Waived RB DeAndre Torrey

• Waived T Jarrid Williams

• Placed TE Tyree Jackson on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list

• Placed T/G Brett Toth on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list

Note that Jackson and Toth must miss at least the first four games of the regular season.

The Eagles' roster is now at 80 players (the Eagles have an exemption for international player defensive end Matt Leo). All NFL rosters must be at the 53-player limit by next Tuesday, August 30, at 4 PM.
