Eagles Locker Room

QB Michael Vick

On whether he feels more compelled than ever to put the team on his back to try to get things back on track: "I just want to go out and win the next game and do it cohesively as a unit, collectively, and not try to do everything on my own. In order to win in this league you have to play as a team, and I think that's very important. We have to do that."

On whether the Bears were the first team to try to take away the run game and RB LeSean McCoy: "Well, I think they just did a great job in all phases of the game, their scheme, they have very good defensive football players over there starting with the guy in the middle, Brian Urlacher, and his counterpart Lance Briggs. Guys feed off of it, and then maybe they can make plays, and they did it for four quarters and we didn't."

On Head Coach Andy Reid's statement that it's not so much what other teams are doing, but that the Eagles are their own worst enemy: "We beat ourselves. I think when certain things happen in a game, we kind of, it's like we go into a panic, and we can't do that. We've got to keep pushing forward, stay confident, keep that edge and attitude, and when we do that we're one of the best teams in this league, I think, and when we don't, obviously you see what happens. We don't win football games."

On what he thinks it means to Cardinals QB Kevin Kolb to come back to Philadelphia: "I think it'll mean a lot to Kevin to come back and have the opportunity to play against his former team, that's always a fun thing. I did it in Atlanta weeks back. We'll both just enjoy the experience. I'm pretty sure he will and an opportunity to play against each other."

On whether he has been following what Kolb has gone through this season: "Yeah, we stay in touch, nothing's changed between us. We've both been through rough times the last couple weeks, so we try to be there for one another."

On whether there is something different this year that is stopping him from matching his performance from last season: "I just feel like things happen for a reason and you can only control what you can control. I don't think defenses are playing me differently; things are pretty much the same. We've got more turnovers this year than we did last year, and that's been the key."

On the leadership on the team: "We have tremendous leadership on this team, that's not our problem. It's far from that. I think our guys do a great job leading, myself, (DT) Cullen (Jenkins), (CB) Asante (Samuel), other guys stepping up. We have that; we're good in that department. Going out and getting it done on the football field has been our biggest problem."

On whether there is any concern that the team will overlook the 2-6 Cardinals: "Not at all. You can't overlook anybody in the NFL because we're all professionals, we all have professional coaches, and we all come to play, so you know, you still have got to take it one game at a time and that has to be the approach, and you've got to win."

DE Brandon Graham

On seeing his first game action since last December: "My knee wasn't hurting at all. It was more of my shoulders with aches and pains, nothing too serious. My knee feels fine with no problems at all. I'm ready to keep building each week."

On how he played compared with how he thought he would play in the first game back: "I played well. I thought I was going be really rusty and I was pretty nervous. I feel that being around the atmosphere and being on the sidelines for a couple of weeks kept me in game mode. When I was out there, it felt good."

WR Jason Avant

On the state of the team after going 3-5: "It's hard from a standpoint that we're not living up to our potential. We won't go out and act like we are playing well. We are not playing up to our potential. We can win, and you saw that in the Dallas game that we can play. We need to do that consistently. I think the biggest thing we can do is not look at our schedule and our record, and we can focus on one game at a time. In good times and bad times, don't listen to what other people say about you."

CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie

On whether he has a lot of respect for guys who have made careers out being nickel corners: "Yes. I have a lot of respect for those guys because it's not an easy job. You have a guy that comes out who is usually a short, faster, swifter guy who has to in-and-out break on you and it's hard to tell which way they're going to go. If you have a quarterback that can make the throw, it's very hard. They have a lot of respect from me."

On whether he follows QB Kevin Kolb at all since that's who he was traded for: "That doesn't have anything to do with me. I haven't looked at him at all until this week since we're playing him. As far as following him, no I don't."

T King Dunlap

On whether he was ready to fill in for G Evan Mathis when he sustained his injury: "I was ready. He was over getting looked at, and if we had made a sudden change, I would have gone in. He finished the game out. He's a pretty tough guy for having what he did to his foot and finishing the game out the way he did. Kind of remarkable."

On whether his good spot starts can be discounted since he's now changing positions: "No, I'll just try and keep the same mindset coming in that I did before at tackle. Keep the offense moving, putting up points on the board, and obviously leading."

On whether he considers it to be a big deal that they are asking him to switch positions even though there are other guards on the team that could be playing: "I guess you can look at it like that. It'll be a new experience for me, first time playing guard in a game. I'm going to make the most of it."

On how long he has been taking reps at guard: "I did a little bit of it last year at practice on the scout team. The scout team and taking reps with the starters is a little bit different. I've done it a little bit at practice but not what I have done now at the game."

On what challenges lie ahead for him moving from the outside to the inside: "Staying lower. You don't normally get a lot of the shorter, wider, power guys outside. I'm making sure that I'm keeping myself down lower in my stance and when I move my feet."

T Todd Herremans

On whether he has talked to T King Dunlap about playing guard: "I haven't really talked to him. King is a football player just like I am, and he'll do fine and will be able to make the switch back and forth. He's going to be able to put his long arms to use this week, especially because (Arizona DT) Calais Campbell is pretty tall as well. I think it'll be a good matchup."

On what kind of adjustments King will need to make being a taller guy playing inside: "I think it's more of an adjustment for the quarterback than anything. He's obviously going to feel himself out with the situation when he's a little higher than normal. It's all about just sinking yourself with your hips and playing at a lower level. It's like that at tackle, too."

On whether it will be a big adjustment for QB Michael Vick: "I think Mike is using his passing lanes pretty well anyways. With our protection scheme, I don't think he has to throw over the top of us very often."

On whether he talks to Arizona QB Kevin Kolb on a regular basis: "Yeah, I talk to him. Not yet this week. I'm sure he is [looking forward to coming back] but I don't even know if he's going to be playing or not."
