The Eagles made two roster moves following Thursday's thrilling win in the home opener.
Released LB Rashaan Evans from the practice squad
Evans was signed to the practice squad on Tuesday. He was not with a team for Training Camp or preseason.
The 27-year-old played in 76 career games, starting 67 of them. He has recorded 476 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, five fumble recoveries, and two interceptions.
Last season, Evans started all 17 games for the Falcons. He registered a career-high 159 tackles and two fumble recoveries. His 159 tackles were seventh-most in the league.
Waived Trey Sermon from Injured Reserve
Sermon signed with the practice squad last September, suiting up for two games on the active roster.
The former third-round pick played in all three preseason games with the Eagles, scoring a touchdown in each one.
