The Eagles announced on Thursday that they signed offensive lineman Brett Toth to the practice squad. To make room for him, the team released fellow offensive lineman Ross Pierschbacher.
Toth (6-6, 304 pounds) was signed off the Eagles' practice squad in October by the Carolina Panthers and played in three games, starting one. Toth was waived by the Panthers on Monday.
Toth played in 17 games (one start at right tackle) for the Eagles between the 2020 and 2021 seasons. He originally entered the league as a rookie free agent in 2019 after receiving a waiver to pursue his NFL career while serving in the Army.
