The Eagles made multiple roster moves on Wednesday ahead of their Week 9 matchup with the Cowboys.
Signed Julio Jones to the active roster
The Eagles signed the 13-year veteran to the practice squad on October 17. Now, Jones has been signed to the 53-man roster.
In two games elevated from to the active roster, Jones made two catches for 11 yards and a touchdown.
The wide receiver caught a pivotal touchdown pass from Jalen Hurts in the fourth quarter of last week's win over Washington, putting the Eagles up for good.
"They believe in me to go out there and execute and take advantage of the opportunity that is given," Jones said. "It was more so for the team, me going out there, playing my role, and doing it to the best of my ability."
Opened 21-Day Practice Window for Cam Jurgens
The Eagles have opened Cam Jurgens' 21-day practice window, designating him for a return from the Injured Reserve list.
Jurgens suffered a foot injury during the Week 4 game against the Commanders.
The offensive guard is eligible to return, if healthy, this Sunday. Sua Opeta replaced Jurgens from Weeks 5 through 8.
"Cam is eligible this week," said Eagles Head Coach Nick Sirianni. "He's done a good job of rehabbing. Can't say enough about our trainers and our strength staff and doctors that we have. So, he's done a good job getting himself in position to see if he can play this week. Obviously, there is a lot that has to go on this week for us to feel comfortable with that. We're hopeful."
Signed E.J. Jenkins to the practice squad
The Eagles have added tight end E.J. Jenkins to the practice squad.
Jenkins (6-foot-6, 245 pounds) was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Jets in 2023. He had a solid preseason (3 rec., 23 yards, 1 TD), but was waived on August 29.
In his final college season, Jenkins caught 17 passes for 316 yards and three touchdowns at Georgia Tech.
