The Eagles took care of some roster business before the bye weekend.
The team signed tackle Le'Raven Clark to a two-year contract through 2022 on Wednesday. Clark, who was on the team's practice squad, is now on the active roster. To make room, the Eagles waived rookie cornerback Mac McCain.
Signed by the Eagles in May, Clark was familiar to the new coaching staff after spending the first five NFL seasons with the Indianapolis Colts. The 6-foot-5, 311-pound Clark played in 47 regular-season games with 15 starts at left tackle, right guard, and right tackle prior to this year. Clark returned from an Achilles injury to play in the preseason for the Eagles before landing on the practice squad. He was called up for the games against Carolina and Tampa Bay as a COVID-19 replacement, playing on special teams.
Keeping the 28-year-old in the mix beyond 2021 gives the Eagles a versatile, veteran presence along the offensive line.
