Eagles sign RB De'Angelo Henderson to the practice squad

The Eagles signed running back De'Angelo Henderson to the practice squad Monday afternoon after losing to the Vikings on Sunday. Prior to the game, running back Corey Clement (shoulder) was placed on Injured Reserve and Darren Sproles (quadricep) did not participate in practice or the Week 6 matchup. Running back Boston Scott was promoted from the practice squad to accommodate those open spots.

The 5-7, 208-pound Henderson was claimed off waivers by the Minnesota Vikings this past July and then released on August 31. Before his short stint in Minnesota, he spent the 2018 season bouncing between the New York Jets' practice squad and their active roster. Henderson played in three games for the Jets, recording 19 yards rushing on two attempts.

The Coastal Carolina product was drafted in the sixth round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos. During his time with Denver, he played in five games racking up 13 yards on the ground, 36 yards receiving, and one receiving touchdown.
