The 6-2 Eagles were in Dallas to take on the 3-5 Cowboys in an NFC East clash today.

The Cowboys were without quarterback Dak Prescott as he is out with a hamstring injury. Micah Parsons made his return from an ankle injury after not playing since Week 4.

The Eagles picked up their first win in Dallas since 2017, dominating the Cowboys 34-6.

"We're just getting better every week and I'm just happy that all phases, special teams, offense, defense – we played complementary ball today and we came up big in some moments where it could have went the other way," Brandon Graham said after the game.

First Quarter

  • After a three-and-out from the Cowboys to begin the game, the Eagles were forced to punt themselves after Jalen Hurts was sacked on back-to-back plays, forcing a 4th-and-22.
  • FUMBLE! Cooper Rush muffed the snap and Milton Williams jumped on the ball at the Cowboys' 17-yard line to give the Eagles the ball with 8:57 remaining.
  • "They (the defense) helped us stay in it when it wasn't going great. They played a great game today," Head Coach Nick Sirianni said. "They started fast. They played great throughout the entire game. I love when we tackle well. We really tackled well."
  • TOUCHDOWN! The Eagles made the most of the early turnover as Hurts found the end zone on the Brotherly Shove to put them on the board first. It was the 50th career rushing touchdown for Hurts. (Eagles 7 – Cowboys 0)
  • Isaiah Rodgers came in for Darius Slay halfway through the quarter. Slay was seen limping on the field earlier in the game after breaking up a pass. He was listed as questionable to return with an ankle injury.
  • The Cowboys got on the board after a 47-yard kickoff return from KaVontae Turpin set them up at their own 40. Brandon Aubrey knocked in a 46-yard field goal to shorten the Eagles' lead. (Eagles 7 – Cowboys 3)

Second Quarter

  • The Eagles were driving in Cowboys territory before Hurts was picked off by Trevon Diggs in the end zone on a pass that was intended for Dallas Goedert. Diggs made an impressive catch to keep the Eagles out of the end zone to start the quarter.
  • "I own that completely. I'm very aware of what was going on on the play. He made a great catch," Hurts said. "The other one, (Hurts fumble) just caught me at a bad moment. Have to protect the ball better."
  • After a 27-yard downfield completion to Jahan Dotson, Hurts was sacked on back-to-back plays again, leaving the Eagles having to punt with 9:21 remaining in the half.
  • Slay came back in the game for Rodgers in the second quarter.
  • FUMBLE! The Cowboys were mounting a drive that had lasted more than 5 minutes of game time and were right on the doorstep as Zack Baun forced Ezekiel Elliott to fumble the ball into the end zone. Cooper DeJean fell on the ball in the end zone for a touchback, giving the ball back to the Eagles with 3:04 left in the half.
  • "It's a really fun defense to play in and we have some really good guys to make this defense really good," Baun said.
  • Micah Parsons sacked and forced a fumble on Hurts to give the Cowboys the ball at the Eagles' 6-yard line with 2:14 to go in the half. The Eagles' defense was able to hold the Dallas offense out of the end zone, as Aubrey made a 23-yard field goal to make it a one-point game. (Eagles 7 – Cowboys 6)
  • TOUCHDOWN! The Eagles ran the two-minute drill and got into the red zone before Hurts found Goedert for a 14-yard touchdown pass. The Eagles went 84 yards in 85 seconds to extend their lead with 23 seconds remaining in the half. (Eagles 14 – Cowboys 6)

Third Quarter

  • A 31-yard punt return from DeJean kickstarted the Eagles' second drive of the new half as it set them up at the Dallas 37.
  • TOUCHDOWN! Johnny Wilson grabbed his first career touchdown catch after Hurts bought time and scrambled up into the pocket to find him near the left corner of the end zone. (Eagles 21 – Cowboys 6)
  • "It was great. It was crazy. I had a whole celebration planned out and the one dude bumped into me, I'm like, you know what, let me celebrate with my team. They were happy. They brought the energy and couldn't make me feel any happier," Wilson said.
  • Hurts found Brown on a deep ball for a 44-yard gain with 6:52 to play in the quarter. It was a rope from Hurts to set the Eagles up at the Dallas 39.
  • TOUCHDOWN! Hurts rushed for an 8-yard touchdown on the read option that he kept, diving into the end zone over a defender to make it a 22-point lead with 2:56 left in the quarter. (Eagles 28 – Cowboys 6)
  • FUMBLE! Bryce Huff sacked Rush and jarred the ball loose and after a Cowboys lineman failed to pick it up, Baun fell on top of it to give the Eagles the ball at the Dallas 21.
  • "Being able to take the ball away with everyone having fun and everybody eating, you have stars not playing in the fourth quarter like it's college," linebacker Nakobe Dean said.

Fourth Quarter

  • FIELD GOAL! Jake Elliott knocked in a 39-yard field goal to open up the final quarter after Hurts couldn't find Brown in the end zone on 3rd-and-10. (Eagles 31 – Cowboys 6)
  • FUMBLE! Baun forced another fumble as he hit Jake Ferguson and Reed Blankenship picked up the Eagles' fourth fumble recovery of the day and returned it to the Dallas 29.
  • Kenny Pickett came in for Hurts as the Eagles began to rest starters with the lead.
  • FIELD GOAL! Elliott knocked it in from 38 yards to extend the lead even further with 10:32 remaining. (Eagles 34 – Cowboys 6)
  • INTERCEPTION! C.J. Gardner-Johnson picked off Trey Lance to give the Eagles the ball at their own 26.
  • The Eagles ran out the clock with their backups to close out a 34-6 victory and move to 7-2.
  • "It means a lot, but we know we have a big game on Thursday. This game was just a gut check of how can we stay together mentally with their guys being down and us being a little nicked up," Gardner-Johnson said.
