The Eagles waived wide receiver Parris Campbell on Monday.
Campbell contributed to Sunday's 24-19 win over the Ravens, playing 28 snaps on offense. Head Coach Nick Sirianni praised Campbell for his key block on Saquon Barkley's 25-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Campbell was originally signed to a one-year contract by the Eagles in free agency. After not making the team out of Training Camp, he stayed on the practice squad thanks to some encouragement from Sirianni, who previously coached him in Indianapolis.
Campbell was elevated from the practice squad in Weeks 2-4 before signing to the active roster on October 12. He was released from the active roster on October 22 and rejoined the practice squad the following day. The Eagles re-signed Campbell to the active roster on Saturday ahead of the Ravens game.
The sixth-year veteran has six catches for 30 yards and a touchdown in five games for the Eagles.
