On the game overall: "I think of course their offense came out and executed pretty well and moved the ball downfield as far as possession. They got a touchdown on their first possession so they did a good job moving the ball down the field. Offensively, we didn't do a great job executing at all. We didn't move the ball, we went three and out, it was just not a good job of executing our offense."
On if they were optimistic coming out of halftime: "Of course we were optimistic. We had just moved the ball down the field and we had another opportunity to move the ball down the field. We had other opportunities we just didn't capitalize on them."
On if he can view the season as a success still: "We did a lot of good things this year so in that aspect of course it's a success. We didn't achieve our ultimate goal, which was to win the Super Bowl. We fell a little bit short. We fought as a team, we came together as a team, we just didn't play well enough to get to our ultimate goal."
On if when they took they lead he thought the game was won: "No, I didn't think we had the game won at that point. We knew (the Cardinals) had a very potent offense, very good players on offense and they had done a good job of moving the ball up and down the field all day. So we didn't think the game was won. We were glad to have the lead, but the way things turned out was tough."
On the Eagles scoring field goals when the Cardinals were scoring touchdowns the first half: "Anytime when the other team is scoring touchdowns and you are just scoring field goals and not getting into the red zone and not scoring a touchdown, of course it gives them momentum. Our defense didn't execute the way we usually do in that first half, we have to do a better job than that. Offensively we didn't do anything the first half, so we have to get better in both those aspects."
On the loss: "It's disappointing. We are a better team than we put out there on the field today, offensively and defensively. I know that and I think a lot of other people know that. But you're only as good as what you put out there on the field. Today wasn't our 'A game'."
On his personal season: "It was disappointing. It didn't go the way I wanted it to. It's tough battling injuries no matter what. Every player in the NFL battles injuries at some point in their career or their season, but I tried to cut through those things and tried to help this team win but some games were better than others."
