WR DeSean Jackson
"Like I said the past week, it's kind of out of our control now. As a team, I think that everybody's come together collectively...I think any time you're able to still go out there and play other teams that are up for playoff bids or positions…we are just here to do everything we can, first and foremost to go out and do our job, and secondly, kind of spoil things for them. We weren't able to get any help from the Jets, so we just had to out there and play."
On being in the NFC playoff picture: "That was really out of our control. As far as other teams in the NFC and who will be going to the playoffs, I think this division is a very powerful division. This year, there were a lot of ups and downs. It was just really hard to put your finger on which team would come out of the division...We're just at a position now where we just want to play hard. Regardless of how we finish or how we started, we just want to go out swinging."
On missing the playoffs for the first time: "This is an unfamiliar feeling, an unfamiliar sight. I've never really witnessed this…It's a reality check. Look in the mirror. Everybody has to check themselves. Hopefully, we can finish strong and come back in the offseason or next year, whenever we are all together, and really eliminate all the mistakes we had early on…"
WR Jeremy Maclin
On knowing of the Giants result: "We didn't approach it any differently. We still are playing for pride. Unfortunately, we can't make the playoffs. But now it's a pride thing. We still believe that we play good football and we can beat anybody. We've got one more game to prove that. It's a pride thing now."
On the domination of the Cowboys this year: "That's just how it is. We know that team. We are really familiar with each other. I just think that when we play them, we just beat them. Unfortunately, the rest of the season kind of wasn't like that that. We can't look back on that now. All we can do now is go out next week and beat the Redskins."
On missing the playoffs after beating the Cowboys and Giants: "That's how it is sometimes. If we would have taken care of our business early, we wouldn't be in this situation."
