Opening Remarks: "Real quick on injuries: Darryl Tapp had something with his ribs. The x-rays were negative but there will be an MRI in the morning. (Jeremy) Maclin did as much as he could on his hamstring. Hats off to the Dolphins. They got heck of a football team that Tony's (Sparano) put together here. It was two teams that needed a win against each other and we were able to come out on top of it. It was a hard-battled game on both sides. I'm proud of my guys. I'm proud of the defense. The defense stepped up with nine sacks and three turnovers, or whatever it was. Again, I'm proud of the way they played."
On the difference today with the defense: "The guys just focused on the fundamentals and kept working and working. They did a nice job…I am (proud). To have a day like this against a good football team. (The Dolphins) were hot. They thumped some pretty good teams. I was proud of the way (we) performed."
On the success of the defense in third down and goal line situations: "I think it was a good job by the D-Line. (We got) good penetration in those situations and the linebackers filled in the void after that. Those guys did a nice job."
On the importance of his team forcing turnovers in the game: "Well, turnovers are important (laughing). And to be able to score off of them, that's important also. So we were able to do that when we needed to. We probably needed to get a couple more points in the second half. But in the first half the guys did a nice job."
On the performance of quarterback Michael Vick: "I thought he did a good job for the first time coming back after three weeks. He started off a little rusty and then as it progressed. I thought the line kind of settled in and protected him well."
On the issues with Vick slipping on the field: "I don't think it was the wet field. Sometimes when you have a play, you hustle back (to the huddle) and you let that back foot get outside your shoulder and you end up slipping off of your big toe when you plant it. I believe he did change (his shoes)."
On if the team's play today was what he had envisioned at the beginning of the season: "I'm just proud of the guys and how they played today. We're a work in progress so that's what we're doing. We're getting better so that's what we're doing and that's what we're trying to do as coaches and players every week. I just appreciate the effort and attitude these guys have had."
On the performance of running back LeSean McCoy: "He's a tough kid and he was getting upset because he had a couple of runs for losses. He battles. He gets your hard downs for you…hard yards. I'm proud of him."
On this thoughts on all of the Eagles fans at the game: "The fans were unbelievable! Unbelievable! At times you almost felt like you were at home. They were loud. They were aggressive, right from the get-go. I'm impressed."
On if he got the performance from his linebackers that he was looking for: "Yeah. They had some good downs I thought. They're young guys so they need to learn and work and that's what you have to do at this level. They're giving you the effort and giving you good solid downs."
On if he'll go home tonight and watch the Giants–Cowboys game: "I didn't even know they were playing tonight (slightly laughing)."
On if Dan Carpenter's 55-yard missed field goal in the first half pushed the momentum towards the Eagles: "I don't think so. (The Dolphins) are a tough minded football team. So I don't think that one thing would cause the game to turn."
On if at this point in this specific season wins are more important than effort: "That's a great question. I think in order to win you gotta have the great effort. You're not going to beat a good football team without the effort. (The reporters) from Philadelphia have been at practice. You've seen the effort and the enthusiasm the guys have had. It's just a matter of having it pay off for us in games. So the win ends up being important but I don't think you get it without the effort."
