RB LeSean McCoy
On the 4th and 1 play in the fourth quarter, which he scored the game-winning touchdown: "We practiced that this week. We got the ball in the perimeter; we did a great job fooling their defense. The offensive line did a great job with selling it inside. It worked the way we wanted it to work."
On the feeling of running down the field untouched after not having a great start to his running game: "You have to keep the same pace. Keep hitting. Maybe run twos, threes. Eventually you're going to bust one. I think with a defense like that, their preparation was excellent. Coming into a game it's going to be like that. In late games, you might pop one or two."
On the bobbling of the football before scoring on the Eagles 4th and 1 play late in the 4th quarter: "I've seen that. When he (QB Michael Vick) was bobbling it, I didn't want to stop because I wanted to make sure he secured the ball. I went on with the play. Being a great athlete that he is, I knew he'd get the ball."
On what the win and being in first place of the NFC East means to the team: "It means a lot. I think all of our goals and strides coming into this season are starting to fall into place. We just have to continue to work, be humble and practice."
WR Jeremy Maclin
On being in first place in the NFC East: "It feels good. Basically, at the end of the day, it's one step closer to where we want to be, the Super Bowl."
On finishing close games as a very young team: "I think it's what we needed. If you look at all the close games, minus the Lions game, which was kind of close, we came up short. So, this was a good to get under our belts. I think we learned from today."
On what it says about this team that they were able to pull out the game: "It says that we are for real and that is how we want to be taken. We know we have a lot of work to do, but I think we are heading in the right direction."
On whether he believes they are the best team in the NFC: "I certainly feel like we are one of the best teams, if not the team. We have to get better and keep striving to get to where we want to be."
On how he thinks the offense handled the Giants' blitz: "I think we did a decent job. Obviously, they threw some curveballs at us that we were not really expecting, but at the end of the day, we made plays and got the job done. That is why the outcome was what it was."
On whether he feels like the Giants' physicality played a role in knocking the Eagles a bit off tilt: "I mean, that was the number one defense in the league. They are obviously going to do some things and make some plays. But, we feel like we are the best offense, so I think the best unit won today."
On how important the division lead is to the team: "It's very important. We are on track to get done what we need to get done. Hats off to our defense, they played tremendously today. As long as we keep playing well as a team and each unit does its job, we will be alright."
WR DeSean Jackson
On how he believes the offense played tonight: "We were out there in a fight tonight. They played us real good. It was a tough NFC East battle for the tops in our division. We expected that and we came out on top. In the second half we came out and let them get a little hope. There was a point that we were stuck and we didn't know where to look to get something going. I congratulated our offensive linemen when we came in and (RB LeSean McCoy) had a heck of a run. There are going to be games like this. We are not going to always go out there and score as many points as we want. The only thing that matters is that this young team came through in a crucial moment to win a crucial game."
On what it says about the offense to win this game on a night that QB Michael Vick looked human: "We don't get caught up in that. Playing football, you are going to have ups and downs. As a quarterback, he understands that and I am sure he wishes he could go out there every time and connect on every ball. As long as he has that mentality, we are going to be alright. But, there are going to be some times that it is not always going to go as well as we want it to go. We just have to find a way to get it done and we did that."
On the Play of McCoy: "25 did it. That's all I am going to say."
On the team winning three straight impressive games: "We are not trying to be a team that plays well here and there. We want to go throughout this entire stretch and play well. This is a team, that since I have been here, that always goes on a hot stretch late in the season. I think right now, we are there. We just got to stay healthy and do the things we need to do. We have to come in and work during the week and let it carry on to Sunday and Monday."
On whether winning a game like this gives the team confidence: "Yeah, it does. It shows us a lot about ourselves. We feel like we are one of the best teams in the conference and we played like it. It's not going to always be as pretty as we want it to be and we realize that. The bottom line is we need to find a way to get it done and we did that."
