Game Vs. Panthers: Head Coach Andy Reid

Injuries/Opening Remarks: "Donovan McNabb fractured his rib. We'll just see how he does over the next little bit. Quintin Demps had a hamstring strain. He didn't come back into the game. Everybody else has got a couple of little nicks and bruises. They'll be okay.

"I'd like to thank the fans. I think they did a great job. There were quite a few numbers up there. It's always good to have them with us.

"The overall game plan was a good solid game plan. There are plenty of things we need to work on. The defensive pressure was a real plus, (as were) the five sacks and the seven take-aways. That was a positive. We did a little better in the Red Zone, however, when we've got opportunities with the football, we've got to get touchdowns in there. We've got to score."

Is it safe to say that Donovan is out for next week? "No. That's not safe to say."

What does Donovan say about his injury? "He's sore right now. He's got a broken rib. We'll just see how he does."

He came back on the sidelines. He wanted to come back in? "That's why he was out there. I probably would have done everything not to do that. That's why we took his pads off at the end."

How do you think the offense performed without Donovan? How optimistic are you? "Well, if it comes to that, I've got trust in Kevin to do the job. The unfortunate thing with the #2 guys that they don't get a lot of reps during the week. If he gets a chance to get some reps, I think you'll see a little more production."

Will you be able to play Donovan next week? "Yes, there's a chance. We'll see. The game just got over."

In general is this a concern for the long-term? "No. I've got to see how things go. We'll just take it day by day to see how it goes."

Donovan's Rib Injury, how many ribs is it? "It's just one rib."

Evaluation of the offensive line: "It was tough to see all five of them. But I felt like it was good production up front. I was happy with the way they played. I've just got to go back and analyze the film."

What did the game mean to Defensive Coordinator Sean McDermott and the defense? "I thought he had a good game plan. I thought the defensive staff did a nice job. I thought the players played like crazy. I was proud of that group."

On Brian Westbrook's performance: "His first time out I thought he did some good things. He was able to get some reps in there and at the same time getting some rest that second half. It was good to get him in there. We'll just keep adding to it."

With all the turmoil on the offensive line, how do you feel they did, specifically, Winston Justice? "I thought he did pretty good. I thought as a group, I'd like to see it before I make a comment on that, but it looked they were productive. We had a couple too many false starts, but we'll get that ironed out and go from there."

On DeSean Jackson as punt returner: "He did do a nice job, I thought all the way around. He had a great return. They did a nice job blocking for him, but also he hit. He's an explosive player on the offensive side. He's a smart kid and a very good player."

Do you think that was a legal hit on Donovan? "I don't know. It looked like the guys were going for it. They didn't call it, so I presume it was legal. I really haven't gotten a clean picture on it."

Can you talk about the challenge you won? "Yes, that was a good one."
