Game Vs. Panthers: Head Coach John Fox

Updates on injuries: "Josh McCown has a knee and foot sprain. That is the only information we have at this point."

On the QB for next week: "I think we start back with Jake. We've got to go back and evaluate what happened to us. After not seeing the tape, I don't think that it was all Jake's fault."

Think about going with McCown for second half?"Not really. We talked about it. We thought Jake gave us the best opportunity at that time. There were a couple of plays that I'm not sure were Jake's fault."

How did Jake Delhomme take being pulled? "He's a team player. He's going to do what's best for the team. You win this game as a team and you lose as a team. It's not one guy who loses football games. I don't think we protected very well offensively. We played a lot of defensive snaps. Our defense was out there quite a bit."

After Delhomme's play against Arizona, how is his confidence? "After that game, I'd be worried about all of our confidences. This team we played today had a loss before this game. It didn't seem to bother them much."

On the team's confidence: "I think any time you get beat 38-10 it doesn't do a lot for your confidence."

What else do you attribute the loss to? "The protection. I think it's uncomfortable playing quarterback when you're getting sacked and knocked around."

Does the offensive line's play surprise you? "You have to give it to Philadelphia. They had a good plan. I thought at the end of the day they coached better than us and played better than us. That is what I saw."

On the offense: "We started off in the first half with a plan. We moved the ball well. Then we had a punt return for a touchdown and a sack fumble for a touchdown. Everyone wants to blame Jake but when you have eight guys pouring in on you, it's hard to blame the quarterback. We weren't able to recover from that."

On what happened: "At the end of the day we played giveaway. We gave the ball away much more than you can in the National Football League. It doesn't matter who you are playing, where you play, when you're playing, you can't do that. We have to get that corrected. That was very evident to me and I imagine it was to the fans. Against good football teams, you can't do that. Whether it's last year, this year or next year, that's reality."

On S Chris Harris: "He was questionable going in the whole week. He got dinged earlier in the week. We thought he could go. He wasn't able to go, so he didn't play."
