Game Vs. Redskins: Head Coach Andy Reid

On winning the game: "Hats off to the Washington Redskins, they are a good football team and it was a good game. I'm proud of my guys, coaches and players in what they did, I thought they sucked it up and played. Particularly at the end I thought our defense rallied to the ball the whole game. They did a nice job, a couple of big plays but they fought like crazy and really did a nice job. We have to do a better job second half offensively getting to the ball and special teams did some good things as well."

On changes made on the defensive front: "Listen, it's just a matter of guys getting used to a couple of things we do, they work so hard at it that somewhere it had to click for them. I think we did the second half of the last game against Buffalo. We built upon that and they did a good job."

On how the three-step drop helped Michael Vick: "He did a good job of that.  They showed some zero blitz, where they walk everybody up on the ball and then bail or they bring them. So the three steps came in hand there."

On shuffling of the offensive line: We really didn't get to that. We tried it the second play of the game, but it wasn't successful. We came back with some drag slants, and slant plays and they worked okay but they were just keeping everyone in and trying to bail them out so it was hard for them to get to their spots."

On LeSean McCoy's performance: "I appreciate the effort he gave. I thought he had that first down there at the end but he was a hair short."

On the offensive line's overall performance: "I had Winston [Justice] break the team down I was proud of him just how the team played, some of them haven't played all season. Those two defensive ends are really good players Todd [Herremans] moving over and having to do that on the left side, that's not an easy thing to do, so again I am just proud of how they all rallied and they really didn't care who went in and played, they just played."

On the reduced turnovers from the previous games: "Well, we need to reduce them more, that's still too many. Now they had a few which helped the cause there but we need to keep working at that. That's the desire and focus and all those things that you're talking about."

On having Kurt Coleman back in the starting lineup: "He did a nice job. What was it, three picks? Yeah, he had a pretty good day."

On Vick running the offense: "Yeah Vick, he did some good things. We had a couple balls tipped but we had the one to Celek that went through Celek's hands that would have been a touchdown, then another one to Celek which was tipped and intercepted. We just need to make sure out in front they keep their hands down."

On receiving a lot of criticism in the past few weeks: "I don't care about all of that, I understand, it was rightfully done. I've always said that about Philly fans, when you stink they're going to let you know you stink and they have all kinds of rights to do that. I'm OK with that."

On whether this was a must-win:
"Listen, in the National Football League they're all must-wins. I've told you that before, I can't sit there and pick games and say we're going to win this one, we're going to lose this one—I can't do that. We prepare for every game and do the best we can every game."

On going into the bye week off a win: "Well this is a tough place to play. That's when I say my hats off to the guys for battling, they came in with the right attitude and they battled like crazy and now they have a week to rest and get back for the Cowboys."

On giving the team the whole week off: "Well, I'll meet with them tomorrow then we'll see."

On giving an interview after a win: "Well, it beats the other way around."

On utilizing Brent Celek: "Well I mean listen, he's a good receiver and we were able to utilize him. We had a nice touchdown and a chance for a couple more. He made some big catches. He bobbled around and on the deep cross it was a nice play so we did utilize him more today and probably continue to need him."

On the importance of the team's mentality to finish the game with a win: "It's big when the momentum switches, you know how that goes, and to pull up and shut it down, that's an important thing to do. Again, hats off to Juan and Marty for the jobs that they did and the rest of the coaches. They put together a hell of a game plan and they players executed it and played like crazy and we saw how they worked their tail off."
