Head Coach Andy Reid

Opening Comments: "Alright, injuries – (CB) Nnamdi (Asomugha) will be limited today, we'll just see how he does. He went through the walkthrough and felt pretty good. (RB) LeSean McCoy will be limited today. Again, he went through the walkthrough, he's got the sprained toe. (T) King Dunlap will not practice, (LB) Moise (Fokou) will not practice, (WR) Jeremy Maclin will not practice, and (QB) Michael (Vick) will throw on the side but will not officially go through the practice. (QB) Vince (Young) will take the reps with the ones and then we'll just play that day-by-day and see how things go the rest of today, short week.

"We look forward to the challenge of playing the Seahawks, good football team. We'll get ourselves ready today. Really, today is the primary day of practice. We had a walkthrough yesterday, so today is the primary day. We'll cover all of the different situations that you need to cover to go play a game, and then fly out there tomorrow and play the game on Thursday."

On whether Vick is showing any progress: "He's making progress every day. Right now he can't torque, put the heavy torque on the ball without feeling some pain there. So I've just got to wait and see. Until that goes away he can't throw consistently."

On whether McCoy has turf-toe: "No, it's not turf-toe, no. It's just he's got some swelling in the toe, but it is not a turf-toe."

On Maclin's status: "Maclin's hamstring. More than his shoulder it's the hamstring."

On what's holding Maclin back: "There's a spot in there that's sore and is tight, and we've got to get that out of there. I don't want to take any steps back by throwing him out there in practice today and doing that."

On whether the gameplan has to be simplified in any way when there is a short week: "What you try to do is you try to carry over as many plays as you possibly can, formations and plays, from an offensive standpoint that you had the week before, and then add what you need to add. I'm saying the plays that you didn't run the week before, and then add what you need to add from there. That's what you attempt to do there, yeah."

On whether he spoke to Defensive Line Coach Jim Washburn or Offensive Coordinator Marty Mornhinweg about their sideline disagreement: "I did, you know, I did. Now listen, things happen, it's an emotional game. It doesn't matter if you're coaches or players, things happen, so you take care of business like grown men. They've talked, I've talked, they've worked it out and we're fine here."

On whether the argument could turn out to be a good thing down the line: "I'd like to tell you it was the first time it's happened, you know, this isn't the first time guys get emotional on the sideline, it's that type of game. Can it be a good thing? They worked it out, that's the good thing."

On whether the dispute was over play calling: "No. I know that was reported, that's not the case. I'm not going to get into it, but that wasn't the case at all. It wasn't an offense versus defensive thing."

On whether he is concerned about Washburn and his demeanor on the sideline: "No. We're moving on, and that's what we're doing."

On whether S Nate Allen's knee is still holding him back: "I don't think so; I think his knee feels pretty good. I think it's just a matter of continuing to play, and listen, I presume you're talking about the play that he came up, he was trying to play aggressive and got caught. It happens to every safety in the National Football League. I appreciate him staying aggressive, he'll learn from that, get better at it, he's a smart guy and he got caught on that one."

On whether we will see more of S Jaiquawn Jarrett in that role: "Nate's the starter."

On whether he has to say anything to the team about the importance of not giving up on the season because of the situation they're in: "I take every game as its own game. I start the season that way and that's the way I continue to do it. I've got a good locker room, good coaching staff, working hard. They're getting themselves ready for the Seattle Seahawks. That's where we're at here. Every season presents its issues and you've got to fight through them, right? So that's what we're doing."

On whether he tried to substitute more on Sunday with the Thursday game in mind: "You say that, a lot of the guys had a chance to play, some due to injury, some due to the plays that we called up. It wasn't for the case of playing this week."

On whether Seahawks QB Tarvaris Jackson has grown as a quarterback since they faced him as a Viking: "Well, I think he has. I would tell you like any young quarterback, every year and every game that they can get under their belt they have a chance to get better. That's what he's done. He's a smart kid, very talented; he's got a nice arm. He can throw the ball."

On how frustrating the Eagles' lack of consistency is: "Listen, that's one of the things we all need to work on, right? As coaches and players, we've got to get better at that. I'm telling you it starts with me, I've got to do my part and everybody else has to do their part and then you don't run into that situation."

On Dunlap and whether there is any concern that his injury might be more long-term: "Well, we're keeping a close eye on him. You don't like seeing this, as far as time, that he's had this for a player. With the information, yeah, he should recover fully and be okay, but I can't tell you that you like seeing that for the situation he has."

On whether he is bothered by DT Trevor Laws' comment about the upcoming Seahawks game: "I didn't see that he said that. They're a good football team. We've got to go out there and play good football."

On whether it bothers him when players make comments like that: "Listen, I haven't read that, so I'm not going to comment on it."

On WR DeSean Jackson saying he worries about his health when he's playing and whether he feels the need to talk to him about it, and whether that sends a message to his teammates given all of his drops: "Well listen, he needs to just continue to move forward after the last game, he mentioned it to you, and have a good game this week. That's what he's going to work on doing."

On whether Jackson starts this week: "Yeah."
