Head Coach Andy Reid

Injuries: "[QB] Michael [Vick] actually did the walkthrough, threw, his ribs are a little sore, we'll just see how things go here for today's practice. [G/T] Todd Herremans with a sprained ankle, likewise, did the walkthrough. [DT] Cullen [Jenkins] has a slight groin strain [but ] he did the walkthrough. And then, [WR Jeremy] Maclin with the hamstring strain, he did the walkthrough. Really the only one who was limited in the walkthrough was [DE] Darryl Tapp, and he was out there he just didn't do everything. Everybody else was good, ready to go, and we'll just how the other guys do this afternoon."

Opening remarks: "We look forward to the challenge of playing the [New York] Jets. Obviously, they're a good football team, in particular the last few years, here. They have great personnel on offense, defense, special teams, and have a heck of a coaching staff. So it will be a great challenge for us and we look forward to bringing them into Lincoln Financial Field and the opportunity to introduce them to our fans."

On whether Vick is more sore now than right after the game: "Yeah, well he was a little tender from the game now [but] not as bad as before. He was throwing the ball out there."

On whether he will be ready to play Sunday: "Yeah."

On whether he regrets making a commitment to WR Steve Smith when he was coming off micro fracture surgery: "No, listen, we know it takes about a year to get yourself back. And Steve worked through it and gave us some good downs. He's going to be fine down the road. I don't think this is a setback by any means for him. He's going to be fine for the upcoming year and minicamps and everything else."

On having only signed Smith to a one-year deal: "Well, he gave us some good depth this year, yeah, in particular when Jeremy was not feeling too well."

On whether he regrets signing Smith: "No."

On his thoughts about DT Cedric Thornton: "Well he's a good, young player and he's worked his tail off for the opportunity to be moved up. So that's why we did it."

On the prognosis for Vick to practice this afternoon: "Well, we'll see. I mean, he did everything this morning so I think he'll probably be in there."

On whether it will be DE Juqua Parker or DE Brandon Graham if DE Darryl Tapp can't go: "Well listen, I'm just going to take it day by day and just see how they do. That's what we did last week, that's why we activated [DE Phillip] Hunt. So we'll see how they do this week. I don't think we're going to get a whole lot of snaps out of Tapp so we'll see how the other two go."

On his thoughts about what's holding Graham back: "Well just continue to get better. He's coming off, again, major surgery. So he's had some good snaps, we've backed him up a little bit and now he's worked his way back up. I thought he did a good job last, he did better last week, in particular the beginning of the week than he had the week before."

On how a team prepares when playing against Jets CB Darrelle Revis: "You flip your receivers. So even if they don't flip their corners these guys…[WR] DeSean [Jackson] will be going against them, Jeremy will be going against them and so on and so forth. You don't worry too much about that, you go about your business and make sure that the routes aren't going to change according to whose covering you. And I'm not taking anything away from him [because] he's one of the best corners in the business. So if they do match them up, to answer your question, that's okay. And then, if they go right or left you're still going to have to play against him."

On whether the offense will have to perform better to beat the Jets: "Well, to win a game you have to score points. So we have to score more than what they do."

On whether they will have to be better offensively than they have the past couple of weeks: "Yeah, we have room to improve, particularly in that second half. We have plenty of room to improve"

On his relationship with Jets head coach Rex Ryan: "I have a good relationship with him. He's a good guy. He has some ties to the Eagles and he's always taken an interest in that, as his brother has, and his father."

On whether he sees any similarities between Dallas and the Jets since the Ryan brothers coach both teams: "They share ideas I'm sure. And they do some of the same things. But they both have their own little wrinkle to the defense, it's not the same thing, and it's not exactly the same as their father's. And then some of that is they work, and they're both very good coaches, with the personnel that they have and trying to exploit the strengths of players that they have on their rosters."

On the reason why Vick is getting intercepted more this year: "Well you have to give credit to the defense, particularly on the tipped balls, and then we just keep working, keep working on fundamentals. So that's what you go about doing."

On whether he is forcing more throws into coverage this year: "In some situations, yeah, to get things going. He will tell you that he's trying to make things happen, but he's made a lot of good throws to."

On his thoughts about whether Ryan is accurate in his descriptions of him as being 'fun to be around' and 'smart': "Well you guys can tell all of those things are true by these press conferences [joking]."

On whether he is handsome too: "Eh, whatever floats."

On their genuine like for one another: "Yeah, that's pretty true. He's a good guy."

On his thoughts about why they haven't had success at Lincoln Financial Field lately: "We need to do better as coaches and players, that's really what it is. I don't think there's too much to it. We just have to play better and coach better, bottom line."

On his thoughts about how the team can keep consistency on defense: "Keep working the fundamentals, keep working the gameplan, keep working as coaches and make sure that you put the players in the right position, and that's what we do."

On his thoughts about the philosophy of Rex Ryan praising his players: "Well he should feel that way, that's his guy. And so, I've told you that about our guys and so that's how it goes."

On whether CB Nnamdi Asomugha is one of the best cornerbacks in the league: "I feel I have a couple pretty good ones, three or four good ones. So I'm very fortunate."

On whether he can pinpoint the things the team did well in the second quarter at Miami and go from there: "Listen, we need to get better. There are things that we can learn from that second half and really throughout the whole game. We didn't start the game as well as we wanted to either. But we did some good things in certain situations. And then, there were some we can learn from and that's what we did – and in particular just try to get better and be able to score more points."

On whether guys are getting more comfortable in the defensive scheme and if they are trying new things on defense: "We did a little bit in training camp and worked it and did it early in the season a couple times. But I think that's a two-fold question there [because] we've done it before, but yeah I also think the guys are becoming more comfortable, in particular on defense."

On his thoughts about why TE Brent Celek is having more success in the second half of the season: "Yeah listen, I just think that the way things were working out coverage-wise and then the plays we are dialing up for him are giving him a better opportunity to make plays. I think he's always been a good player. He's still blocking well and doing that in the pass and run game. And he's also done a nice job catching the football."

On his thoughts about whether having no minicamps in Vick's first offseason as the starter affected the outcome of this season: "Listen, I don't think it has. Again, that's a tough question because I think throughout the National Football League these things are, particularly on the defensive side of the ball, that teams have been affected by it. I will tell you that I don't think that's the case. But again, every rep that he can get in this offense is a good rep."
