Linebacker Jamar Chaney will start at weakside linebacker Sunday night when the Eagles face the Giants as starter Akeem Jordan is inactive due to a hamstring injury.
Chaney's best career game came as a starter at middle linebacker in 2010 against the Giants.
Also out for the Eagles among the starters is offensive tackle King Dunlap due to a hamstring injury. Demetress Bell starts in his place.
The other inactives for the Eagles include: safety Colt Anderson, wide receiver Riley Cooper, defensive end Vinny Curry, running back Dion Lewis and guard Nate Menkin.
The big inactive news for the Giants is that safety Antrel Rolle is active and will start despite a knee injury. The Giants are without starting wide receiver Hakeem Nicks and cornerback Jayron Hosley. Domenik Hixon will start at wide receiver opposite Victor Cruz. Price Amukamara will start at cornerback. It's the former first-round pick's first career start.
