We are excited to announce that our alumni group will now be referred to as the Eagles Legends Community. Many of you are familiar with, and have registered for, the NFL Legends Community. They are a tremendous organization whose mission is to "celebrate, embrace and connect former players with each other, their teams and the NFL." In addition, their focus is to "streamline communication and serve as a central resource for players to learn about programs and benefits offered through the NFL and other affinity groups." In an effort to align ourselves with the league and streamline the messaging that you receive, we made the decision to change our name from the Eagles Alumni Association to the Eagles Legends Community. Currently, 27 of 32 NFL teams refer to their alumni group as "Legends Community," and we are proud to be one of them. Although we may have a new name and a new logo, we are still the same Eagles family that we have always been.

As part of the transition, you will be issued new polo shirts to wear at all appearances and Eagles events that you take part in, from this point on. Some of you may have already received your new shirt, but for those of you who haven't, I will ensure that you get a new one prior to your next appearance. Moving forward, we ask that you are diligent about no longer wearing any type of Eagles Alumni Association apparel to any event or appearance that you attend as an Eagles alumnus.
