In a recent survey of all NFL players by *Sports Illustrated, *players from around the league chose the Eagles as the third-most likely team to win the Super Bowl. The Eagles received nine percent of the vote, the highest of an NFC team. The New England Patriots topped the poll with 29 percent, followed by the Pittsburgh Steelers at 21 percent.
291 players were surveyed, and they could not vote for their own team, and the poll was completed before week two's games. The Baltimore Ravens (five percent) and New York Giants (five percent) rounded out the top five.
