Darius "Big Play" Slay is also active after missing last week's game against Baltimore with a concussion.
Jenkins will join Grant Calcaterra and C.J. Uzomah as the three tight ends on the roster for today.
The team also elevated fullback Khari Blasingame, who will be making his Eagles debut.
With safety Reed Blankenship being out with a concussion and Sydney Brown out with a knee injury, rookie Andre Sam was elevated for the first time this season and will make his NFL debut.
Punt returner/wide receiver Britain Covey was ruled out on Friday with a neck injury. Cooper DeJean took reps as the punt returner when Covey was out earlier this season.
