On whether training camp went how he thought it would: "Yeah, it's been very successful. It's been really good and I feel like everybody feels the same way and I feel like we're heading in the right direction. Obviously we're not there yet, of course, but we're going in the right direction and all we can do is keep working."
On what he is looking to get out of the game personally against Cincinnati: "Just a little more rhythm and a little more game time atmosphere and a little more preparation. Everything just up one more level. We want to be sharp. Cincinnati has a good defense and they are very talented, so it will be a good test for us."
On whether training camp was easier this year than previous years: "It's been great, this is the situation I've been wanting to be in for a long time. It feels good to finally be out here and be the starter and to get one under my belt."
On whether he had jitters for the Jacksonville game and whether he felt the pressure: "Yeah, I tried to treat Jacksonville a little bit like opening day. I know that it's not the same, but that way I can get used to it. We went out there and we executed pretty well, so it feels good to get that under my belt."
On whether he was happy with the progress of the team during the Jacksonville game: "Oh yeah I thought that the offensive line did great. Of course we have talent all over the field so it's just putting it together for us. We can always get better consistency and be more efficient and those types of things, but it was a good start. We've just got to keep moving forward and not settle."
