QB Michael Vick
On how excited he gets to play the Dallas Cowboys: "I'm just as excited as I would be for any other game, not just because it's Dallas. It's not just because it is another game we have to play but it's critical, there's a lot on the line. It's a game where we have to go out and find a way to put forth our best effort and try to somehow find a way to win."
On Rob Ryan's comments during free agency: "No, it's all competitive. We all love this game and we love the good part of it. I'm pretty sure that coaches like coaching their guys and having them dominate. Players like going out on the field and dominating. You're going to get some talk now and then, but at the end of day, you just talk about what happens on the field."
On the Eagles five-game skid at home: "I'm not going to talk about losing. Not talking about losing right now. I understand there is a losing streak, but let's all think positive."
On facing former Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Johnson when he was with Atlanta: "I can't think of another defensive coordinator that I went into the game knowing it was going to be a hell of a game. On my end, I had to be on top of my p's and q's and know what was happening, but I didn't know what to expect. I knew I was going to get blitzes from everywhere, and people walking all around.
"He was probably the only defensive coordinator, I can honestly say that and I'm not lying because I've played against some good ones and I played great against them, that I ever faced that I ever had a tad bit of doubt in my abilities. It speaks volumes, and it's the truth. It's the first time I've ever been asked about facing Jim. I told a lot of guys that, 'Man, he's a great coach.' He did a lot of things I had never seen before."
WR Jeremy Maclin
On whether the Cowboys run defense will open up more passing opportunities: "We have one of the best running backs in the league, and I don't see why we won't try to fit him the ball. I think it'll be a good game but I'm pretty confident with what we have going on here and with our game plan this week."
On facing Cowboys OLB DeMarcus Ware: "We know DeMarcus Ware is a very good football player, and we understand that, and he's not just by himself. We know those guys and have to be aware of where they are at all times. That's the good thing about what we have in the game plan this week, and we have certain types of ways of taking advantage of them lining up in different places. If we go out there and play strong, we'll be in good shape."
On playing in prime time: "Everybody's watching, and you want to put on a show for everyone who is watching. Usually there are millions of people watching this game, and what better game to give them then Cowboys-Eagles."
