The 6-5, 312-pound Dial recorded 21 tackles, five for loss, and had 1.5 sacks last season for the BCS National Champions. A junior college transfer, Dial was a reserve for the Crimson Tide in his two seasons in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Dial is versatile in that he can play defensive end in a 3-4 or defensive tackle in a 4-3 alignment.
Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net pegged Dial as an undrafted free agent, but Wilson noted that Dial's size and versatility could help him become a late-round selection.
