According to Gil Brandt of NFL.com, Western Kentucky defensive end Quanterus Smith visited with the Eagles.
The 6-5, 250-pound defensive end suffered a left ACL injury last season. Though he attended the NFL Scouting Combine, he did not participate in any drills. Many draft experts believe Smith could fit the bill as a defensive end or a linebacker, depending on the scheme.
Despite suffering his injury in November, Smith finished 2012 season as the FBS' leader in sacks per game with 1.25, and registered 12.5 sacks over those 10 games. He was also named the 2012 Sun Belt Player of the Year.
Brandt also reported that Smith will visit with the Giants this weekend.
