According to NFL.com's Henry Hodgson, the Eagles have a little more than $24 million in cap space to work with as free agency gets underway. Per Hodgson, the Eagles have $24,010,804 in cap space which ranks 11th in the NFL - and that's after the team reached deals with Riley Cooper, Jason Kelce, Jeremy Maclin, Jason Peters and Cedric Thornton prior to the start of free agency. The average cap space for each team is a shade under $20 million at $19,892,819.41. The Eagles benefit from having 20 of 22 starters from the playoff game against the Saints under contract for 2014.
