For those asking, #Eagles are working on bringing back Donnie Jones, per source. They've talked. Still early in the process for all FAs. — Geoff Mosher (@GeoffMosherCSN) March 9, 2014
According to Geoff Mosher of Comcast SportsNet, the Eagles are "working on bringing back" punter Donnie Jones.
Jones can only sign a one-year contract worth the veteran minimum prior to the start of free agency due to a rule in the Collective Bargaining Agreement. If either side wants a different deal, it would have to be finalized after Tuesday's 4 PM kickoff to free agency.
