According to Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ.com, 28-year old free agent Willie Young, defensive end from the Detroit Lions, appears to be a target of the Eagles.
One name I keep hearing tied to the #Eagles when talking to different league sources: Willie Young. — Eliot Shorr-Parks (@EliotShorrParks) March 11, 2014
Young, a seventh-round pick of the Lions in 2010 out of North Carolina State, measures 6-foot-4, 251 pounds, and could be a candidate to switch to outside linebacker in the Eagles 3-4 defense. He was an effective rotational pass rusher and had a breakout season for the Lions in 2013, playing in all 16 games and recording 47 total tackles (29 solo, 4.0 for loss), 3.0 sacks, two fumble recoveries and five passes defended.
