McCoy, 40, has been the Broncos' offensive coordinator for four seasons. Last year, he helped Denver get to the playoffs and earn a playoff victory by building an offense seemingly on the fly around then quarterback Tim Tebow. This year, with Peyton Manning in tow, McCoy has helped change the offense once again to the league's second-highest scoring unit.
Prior to his time in Denver, McCoy spent nine seasons as an offensive assistant with the Carolina Panthers, serving as the quarterbacks coach for the majority of that time.
McCoy has been something of a hot commodity throughout the first few days following Monday's spat of head coach dismissals throughout the league. La Canfora reports that McCoy will also interview for at least two other job openings, in Chicago and Arizona.
