According to Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Green Bay Packers DE/OLB Mike Neal could be a player to keep in mind once free agency begins on Tuesday at 4 PM.
Name to pay attention to starting Tues is GB OLB/DE Mike Neal. Didn't drop much in 1st year as OLB, but has size/versatility/athleticism — Zach Berman (@ZBerm) March 10, 2014
Neal, a 27-year-old out of Purdue University, had his best NFL season in 2013. He appeared in all 16 games, starting 10 while racking up 5.0 sacks. He also led the Packers with 37 hurries. Originally a second-round pick in 2010, Neal's versatility makes him an intersting piece. Standing at 6-foot-3, 285 pounds, Neal played defensive tackle during his last two seasons at Purdue, but was then moved to defensive end with the Packers. Prior to the start of 2013, he was moved again, this time to outside linebacker in the Packers 3-4 defense.
