Milliner is considered the top cornerback of this year's draft class. Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net ranked Milliner as the No. 5 overall prospect. The Eagles have the No. 4 overall pick. Milliner is expected to be available when the Eagles are on the clock.
According to McLane, who spoke with Milliner, the Eagles did meet with the former Alabama star at the NFL Scouting Combine. The Eagles also have plenty of connections to Alabama including new offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland, who served in the same capacity at Alabama the past two seasons.
The 5-11, 201-pound Milliner cemented his status as a high first-round pick with a 4.37 in the 40-yard dash at the Combine in February. He was a unanimous first-team All-America and All-SEC selection recording 54 tackles, two interceptions and 22 pass breakups for the National Champions in 2012.
