On Saturday, we posted an item that the Eagles reportedly had interest in free agent safety Mike Mitchell, who had a breakout year with the Panthers in 2013.

A few other reporters - including one prominent Panthers beat writer - have since piled on reiterating the same thing. However, at this point "interest" is the only word being tossed around.
