Following their Week 3 win over the Saints, the Eagles announced changes to their roster on Tuesday.

The team signed tight end Jack Stoll to the active roster and wide receiver John Ross to their practice squad. To make room for Stoll on the active roster, the Eagles placed wide receiver Britain Covey on Injured Reserve.

Covey went down with a shoulder injury early in the Saints game after catching one pass for 11 yards.

Stoll made his 2024 Eagles debut against the Saints after being elevated from the practice squad for the game. He has spent time on the practice squad after being released from the Giants during roster cutdowns. Stoll was the only undrafted free agent to make the Week 1 roster for the Eagles in 2021 when he was a rookie. During his 51-game career, he has made 20 catches for 183 yards. Stoll will provide depth to the tight end room that is made up of Dallas Goedert and Grant Calcaterra.

Ross spent most of the summer with the Eagles after impressing during his Rookie Camp invitation following the 2024 NFL Draft. He was released from the team during roster cutdowns, but now will make his return to the wide receiver room. Ross, who famously ran a 4.22 in the 40-yard dash during the NFL Scouting Combine, will bring speed and familiarity to the group. Ross has compiled 62 receptions for 957 yards and 11 touchdowns since being drafted 9th overall by the Bengals in 2017.

Covey was seeing more time at wide receiver with A.J. Brown out the past two games, tallying seven catches for 34 yards. Cooper DeJean took over Covey's punt return duties following the injury on Sunday. – Written by Liam Wichser
