Coming off a loss to the Cowboys on Saturday, the Eagles are back at the NovaCare Complex, getting ready for this week's matchup against the New Orleans Saints. Right tackle Lane Johnson and cornerback Avonte Maddox are among the players who did not participate in today's walk-through -- both suffered injuries in Dallas over the weekend. Four Eagles would not have practiced today had the team held one, but because it was a walk-through, today's report is an estimation.

Head Coach Nick Sirianni offered insight into some injured players' statuses:

On Lane Johnson (groin): "He's one of the toughest guys we've ever been around. Obviously, it says a lot about how he cares about his teammates, who he is as a teammate, and you know he's in pain, that he's just going to do whatever he needs to do to get himself ready to play, and that's for his teammates. Speaks of his toughness and his desire to connect and how much all his teammates mean to him."

On Jalen Hurts (shoulder): "He's feeling good. I guess what I'm saying is if his body heals quickly, which I'm seeing that it does, he's better than he was last week at this time because it's seven days later."

On C.J. Gardner-Johnson (kidney): "C.J. is feeling better, and it's just good to have him be around and everything. We'll see. We'll see where we are with that, but I know he's feeling better. I know he's on the road to recovery, and it'll be good to get him back when he's able to get back."
