Cornerback Asante Samuel arrived at Lehigh University on Monday morning. He had been excused from the start of training camp by the team for personal reasons.
Samuel was getting a physical done at the field house adjacent to the practice fields and will be with the team for the afternoon practice, although it remains to be seen whether he will take part in it.
The Eagles boast the premier cornerback group in the NFL with Samuel, a four-time Pro Bowl selection; Nnamdi Asomugha, a four-time All-Pro who agreed to terms on a deal with the Eagles on Friday; and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, who was acquired in a trade with the Arizona Cardinals last Thursday.
